The name "elestial" is derived from the English word "celestial" (celestial or sky), and is said to be derived from its unique stepped and layered appearance. It is a mineral that retains the natural formation process intact, with the multi-layered structure seen on the crystal surface, the inclusions trapped inside, and growth marks.
