1.967ct loose andalusite from Madagascar

Andalusite is known as the "king of pleochroism." When viewed from different angles, you can see that multiple colors, such as brown, green, and orange, are packed into one stone. It is actually a polymorph of kyanite and sillimanite.
This is a radiant cut andalusite stone polished by Sri Lankan cutter Sanjay. It has high transparency and a striking size of approximately 2 carats.
