Andalusite is known as the "king of pleochroism." When viewed from different angles, you can see that multiple colors, such as brown, green, and orange, are packed into one stone. It is actually a polymorph of kyanite and sillimanite.

This is a Sakura in-cut gemstone from Shimizu Precious Stones. It is made of Andalusite from Spain.
