Iolite has a beautiful deep blue-purple color, reminiscent of violet flowers. It is a gemstone with pleochroism, which allows it to appear in different colors depending on the angle from which it is viewed. This is a type of iolite that exhibits a glittering optical effect called aventurescence. It is commonly known as " iolite sunstone " or "aventurescent iolite."
