Mineral-wise, it is a member of the beryl family, the same as emeralds and aquamarine. It is named after JP Morgan Chase, one of the largest investors in history and an avid gemstone enthusiast. This is a Brazilian morganite with a striking size of 4.7 carats and a vivid color. The inclusions are visible because of the 44x magnification, but they are not noticeable to the naked eye.
