This is an even rarer type of conch pearl called a horse conch. It is a snail shell that lives from Florida to parts of the Caribbean coast, and although it is a different shell from conch pearls, the identification certificate pursuant to AGL standards lists it as a conch pearl, commonly known as a horse conch pearl.
