[Shimizu Precious Stones Representative Yukio Shimizu] Aragonite 36.312ct chopstick rest (step cut) with foil-stamped signature and patch
The Japanese name for aragonite is araishi (hailstone). It is so named because calcium carbonate forms in the shape of small hailstones falling from the sky. Its Mohs hardness is 3.5 to 4, which is a little low. Its hardness is such that caution is required when wearing it all the time in a ring. It has a beautiful glass-like luster.
This chopstick rest (step cut) is a hand-polished work by Yukio Shimizu, president of Shimizu Precious Stones, famous for Sakura In Cut and Dandelion Cut . A postcard with a foil stamped signature is included as a special bonus for the chopstick rest. A special badge is also included.
