Ametrine allows you to enjoy both the purple of amethyst and the yellow of citrine. Both amethyst and citrine are types of quartz (crystal), and are called "bicolor quartz" in gemstone name and "shiousuishou" in Japanese.
This is Koshu Kikiseki Kiriko 's Checkerboard x Subaru, a collaborative piece between Shimizu Kikiseki and Yoichi Fukazawa.
This Koshu Kikiseki Kiriko was created by two master craftsmen, Yukio Shimizu, president of Shimizu Kikiseki, and Yoichi Fukasawa, president of Jewelry Craft Fukasawa. Shimizu worked on the facets, and Fukasawa worked on the cut surfaces. A special badge is included.
