Euperlite 11.971ct loose stone
This relatively new mineral was discovered in June 2017 on the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It has the characteristic of showing orange patterns when exposed to black light, and was named "Yooperlite" after "Yoopers," the nickname for the people who live in the Upper Peninsula. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary stone, but when exposed to black light, it shines, making it an almost magical stone.
