Colombian Euclase 548.00ct rough stone

Sale price¥248,000
Euclase's name comes from the Greek words "eu", which means "well", and "klasis", which means "to break". As its origin suggests, it has a perfect cleavage. Because it is a rare species, it is a rare stone that is rarely made into jewelry. There are color variations such as white, colorless, light green, light blue, and dark blue.

This is a rough stone with a rare Colombian Euclase host rock. Euclase is a gemstone with very little parent rock in circulation, so much so that even some jewelers have never seen it. This is a particularly dark shade of blue Euclase. The host rock has green crystals, but since it is close to the quarry of Colombian emeralds, the local mine owner says there is a possibility that they are emeralds.
*Due to the need for destructive testing, we do not conduct detailed testing of green crystals.
