Hyalite Opal 2.230ct rough stone

Hyalite opal fluoresces mint green when exposed to a black light. It is one of the stones called rare stones. As its name suggests, it is mineralogically a member of the opal family, but it does not have play of color. Enjoy fluorescence using a black light.

Hyalite opal is generally transparent, but this is a rare type of hyalite opal with a green-yellow ground color. Please note that this gemstone quality hyalite opal was purchased for loose polishing, and once the looseness is gone, this rough stone may be withdrawn for polishing.
