[Yurakucho Marui 2F] Pop-up store announcement [March 21st (Fri) - 27th (Thu)]

Following on from February, a pop-up store will also be held in Yurakucho, Tokyo!
In addition to the usual sections such as the birthstone feature for each month, the world's top five gemstones, and Paraiba tourmaline, this time we will be expanding our overseas purchasing section!
New arrivals from Tucson, one of the world's largest mineral shows, will also be making their first appearance at the event!
You can still view the gems purchased in Thailand in late January.
In addition, there will be a large number of gems lined up in a small space, including cut gems that highlight the advanced techniques of skilled craftsmen from Japan and abroad, such as Shimizu Precious Stones in Kofu and the talented craftsman Sanjay from Sri Lanka, as well as jewelry that is full of attention to detail.
From famous gemstones that everyone knows to rare stones that you rarely see, please come and see the gemstones that KARATZ is proud of♪
The only time you can take your time to compare and choose the ones you like is when the pop-up store is open!
If you can't decide based on the photos on the online shopping site alone, don't miss this rare opportunity to see KARATZ jewelry in person.
The event will be held for a week, so please come and visit on a day that is convenient for you. We will also be offering special benefits to encourage you to visit multiple times during the period.

💎The world's top five gemstones corner

This time, we will have a corner featuring the world's five greatest gemstones: diamond , ruby , sapphire , emerald , and alexandrite !
You might discover new hidden charms of famous gemstones that everyone knows!

💎Paraiba Tourmaline Special

Paraiba tourmaline has been loved around the world since it was first released.
Just looking at them has an irresistible charm that brings joy to the soul. We will bring many of them this time, so please take a look and compare them by color, size, and place of origin.

💎March & April birthstone special section
This is a special feature on the birthstones for March, the month in which the event is held, and next month, April.
*Diamonds will be displayed in the world's five greatest gemstones corner.
March Birthstone
The four birthstones for March are aquamarine, coral, iolite, and bloodstone.
We plan to bring a large selection of these, mainly aquamarine and iolite.

Aquamarine is said to have been named after the Latin word meaning "sea water," and is a gemstone with many legends associated with the sea.
The colors range from gentle shades reminiscent of tropical seas to deep, rich blues and greenish blues.
Relatively large crystals are often harvested, so there is also the fun of selecting them based on different cuts.
The way the stone sparkles will vary depending on the cut, so try out a variety to find your favorite.

Iolite is said to have been named after its color, and is a gemstone with a striking deep violet color.
This term refers to the mineral cordierite that exhibits this color; other shades of the same mineral are called by different names.
It is also known for its remarkable pleochroism, which means that it appears to be different colors depending on the viewing angle, and some appear to be three colors, such as violet, gray, or yellow.
In recent years , the "iolite sunstone" and "bloodshot iolite sunstone" (both common names) have been attracting the attention of collectors, whose appearance changes depending on the inclusions contained within. The inclusions inside sparkle when exposed to light, and their mysterious appearance reminiscent of the night sky and galaxies has made them increasingly popular.
April Birthstone

April's birthstones are diamond and morganite.
*Diamonds are displayed in the World's Five Great Gemstones corner, so this corner only contains morganite.
Morganite , which was recently added to the April birthstone list, is a type of beryl, the same mineral as emerald and aquamarine, and is a pink to pinkish orange gemstone.
They are often found in relatively large crystals, and you can search for them by size and cut. Different colors create different atmospheres, so it's fun to search for your favorite color.

💎Overseas Purchase Corner

This corner features a collection of gemstones purchased directly from countries known as gem-producing or -collecting centers, such as India, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and Tucson, USA .
💎Tucson, USA Buying Corner
The highlight of this event is the Ruths, who just arrived from Tucson, USA in early February.
There are also American gemstones and rare stones, so you might find what you're looking for! Please look forward to it!

Bicolor zircon from Malawi

Fluorite in Quartz

💎Thailand Purchasing Corner

The Thai purchasing corner, which was well received in February, will continue to offer a full lineup. There are also products that are unique to Thailand, so be sure to find a bargain.

Axinite (Green Tint)

Lazurite in Quartz
💎 Sanjae's Cut Corner

Sanjay is a skilled polisher from Sri Lanka, a familiar face at "KARATZ STORE."
The beauty of the gemstones cut by Mr. Sanjay is clear when you see them in person. Especially gemstones with many polished surfaces shine differently even from a distance, and when light hits them, they sparkle in a way that is hard to describe. We will also bring new products, so please look forward to them.

Fluorite from Rogerley

Medusa Quartz (Giralite in Quartz)

💎Specialty & Skillful Cutting Corner

This corner is home to a collection of cut gemstones that showcase the advanced techniques of skilled artisans both in Japan and abroad.
Following on from December and February, we will have cut gemstones by Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, a highly skilled polisher from Yamanashi Prefecture, as well as new items from Shimizu Precious Stones .

Rock Crystal (by Takeshi Yamamoto)
▶If you want to know more about Takeshi Yamamoto, check out "Carats Gem Magazine" !
💎Staff Choice Corner
There are many attractive gemstones that are not selected as birthstones. This corner collects gemstones and rare stones that are especially recommended by our staff from among those gemstones.
If you are looking for gemstones with unique inclusions or rare gemstones, be sure to check this out!
💎Birthstone Corner
This section features birthstones other than March and April .
If you don't know where to start because there are so many different types of gemstones, we recommend starting here!
I think it would be fun just to find out what birthstones are for you, your family, and your loved ones.
Also, the same gemstone can have a different atmosphere depending on the color and cut, so be sure to compare different gemstones and discover the depth of gemstones and their unknown charms.
