Aquamarine is said to have been used by fishermen as a talisman for sailing in the past. It is a mineral called "beryl" like emerald, and blue to light blue stones like this one that resemble the sea are called "aquamarine". This milky aquamarine loose stone is a collaboration between Shimizu Kiseki and Yoichi Fukazawa, made by Koshu Kiseki Kiriko .

This Koshu Kiseki Kiriko was created by two master craftsmen, Yukio Shimizu, president of Shimizu Kiseki, and Yoichi Fukasawa, president of Jewelry Craft Fukasawa. Shimizu created the facets, and Fukasawa created the cut surfaces. It is a checkerboard cut with a colorful design. The size is 13.5 x 11 mm.
