Musgravite is a rare stone known only to those in the know. It is said to have been first discovered in Australia's Musgrave Mountains in 1967. It's been less than 50 years since it was discovered. Until recently, it was extremely difficult for identification organizations to identify it, as it has a very similar composition to spinel and taaffeite.
