January birthstone

Many people may have the impression that garnet is a red gemstone, but it actually comes in many shades. In fact, garnet is not the name of a single gemstone, but the name of a group of minerals with similar chemical compositions. Also, there are some types that are made by mixing several types, so I think it would be fun to collect gemstones with different colors and types. Some types appear to change color depending on the light source.
