Iolite is a beautiful deep blue-purple color that resembles a violet flower, and is a pleochroic gemstone that appears to be a different color when viewed from different angles. This is iolite with some elements added. First up is "Aventurescence." It has a glitter-like optical effect and is commonly called ``iolite sunstone'' or ``aventuressence iolite.'' Among those that exhibit this effect, those with red spot-like patterns are called "bloodshot." It is said that the main cause of the red color is lepidocrocite.
