Bangkacha sapphire (star sapphire) 2.452ct loose
A star sapphire with a star effect. The back side is intentionally left uncut and often left lumpy. By shining a light on it, a soft star appears and disappears. Please enjoy viewing it from various angles. The photos were also taken using a penlight. The back side of the stone is basically unpolished. This is a sapphire called Bangkacha sapphire mined at the Bangkacha mine in Thailand.
