Montana Sapphire (from Yogo) 0.58ct rough stone with GIA

Montana sapphire began when Dr. J.F. Kunz, then vice president of Tiffany & Co., proved that a blue rough stone found in Yogo Valley, Montana, was sapphire. There are several deposits, but this one is from Yogo, which can be said to be the birthplace of Montana sapphire. Blue to violet sapphires are mainly produced in Yogo. Since the mine is currently closed, it is a rare stone with no new production.
