Bekily Blue Garnet (color change garnet)

Bekily Blue Garnet is a garnet with a color-changing effect that is said to have been discovered in the Bekily Mine in southern Madagascar in the late 1990s. Generally, only those mined from the Bekily Mine are called "Bekiri Blue Garnet." It turns blue-green under sunlight or fluorescent light, and turns red or purple under incandescent light or candlelight. It is a popular gemstone with a different charm than alexandrite.
