It is sometimes called Gilalite in Quartz as it is, but GIA says that the inclusions look like a jellyfish called "Medusa Jellyfish", so it is called "Medusa Quartz". In addition, the beautiful blue color is reminiscent of Paraiba Tourmaline, and it is also called "Paraiba Quartz" because it was produced in Paraiba State, Brazil, where Paraiba Tourmaline is produced, and is a gemstone that has several common names.
