Axinite

Axinite is a highly pleochroic gemstone that changes color depending on the viewing angle. Most of them are brownish or yellowish, but they can also have other shades such as pale red or pink. It often forms crystals that resemble the clamshell of an axe, and is said to have been named axinite from the word "axe stone."
