Konpeito

These original cuts are carved to resemble the candy konpeito by Makoto Nakano, a polishing craftsman from Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Each one is carefully crafted, starting with the selection of raw stones that can bring out the color and texture of konpeito. konpeito cuts are carved out bit by bit with a gemstone engraving machine, taking into consideration the placement of the protrusions. They require high concentration and effort, and it is said that only one or two can be made in a day, making them highly valuable as rarity. Their charm lies in their realistic appearance and adorable shape, which will make you want to collect them all.
