A flawless diamond is literally a flawless diamond, completely free of impurities and characteristics, both internally and externally . Only diamonds that meet strict standards are rated as flawless, and are given special value due to their rarity and high quality.

- About the difference between IF and FL : The main difference between Internally Flawless and Flawless is the presence or absence of very slight surface features. Internally Flawless has complete transparency internally but may have very slight external surface features. On the other hand, Flawless is a diamond that is perfect both internally and externally and has no features whatsoever.
