Baddeleyite from Burma (Badeleyite) 0.121ct Ruth Japanese-German edition

¥12,800
Baddeleyite is a rare stone whose composition is very similar to cubic zirconia (CZ), which is also known as a diamond imitation stone, and is sometimes called natural zirconia overseas. Baddeleyite and cubic zirconia (CZ) have the same chemical composition, ZrO2 (zirconium oxide), but while baddeleyite has a monoclinic system, cubic zirconia has a cubic system, and there are differences in Mohs hardness and refractive index. It seems that they cannot be said to be exactly the same mineral. A certificate of identification from the Japan-German Gem Research Institute is included.
