Star moonstone 22.565ct loose

Moonstone has an attractive soft and gentle shine. The name comes from the fact that this glow resembles that of the moon. The Japanese name is moonstone. This is a rare type of moonstone where stars can be seen. Most of them have 4 stripes, but you can sometimes see stars with more than 4 stripes. It seems that it is due to the arrangement of inclusions, but it feels like a mysterious product of nature. A penlight is used when photographing gemstones with a star effect (asterism). Also, the back side of the stone is basically unpolished.
